When we talk about Medina, we're talking about more than the homes we help people buy and sell. We're talking about our neighbors, the businesses we visit, the parks we enjoy, and the community our family calls home.
For The Kennedy Real Estate Team, our connection to Medina goes well beyond real estate. We care about what happens here because we're part of it.
And sometimes, the best way to explain what makes this community special is to share the people who show up for one another.
A Small Effort With a Bigger Purpose
My son Matthew wanted to get involved in Medina Goes Pink, our upcoming breast cancer awareness event. He's collecting returnable cans and bottles to raise money, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Network of WNY.
He also took his fundraiser into downtown Medina, visiting businesses and asking them to display his flyer.
He left my office with a big stack of flyers and came back with a much smaller one. Seeing those flyers appear in local windows meant a lot to us. Each one represented someone willing to help him spread the word and support the cause.
We weren't able to capture every business that participated, but we appreciate everyone who made room for his flyer, encouraged him, or contributed returnables.
Matthew shares how you can support his can and bottle fundraiser for Medina Goes Pink.
Come Together for Medina Goes Pink
Medina Goes Pink
Proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Network of WNY
The event will bring together local vendors, food vendors, educational and health care vendors, family activities, a basket raffle, and a 50/50 raffle.
It's an opportunity to support a meaningful cause, connect with local resources, and spend time with neighbors.
Wear your pink and bring your friends and family. Whether you stop by the event, contribute to Matthew's fundraiser, or help spread the word, your participation matters.
Supporting the can and bottle drive?
Returnables can be dropped off at Upstate Bottle Return locations. Our local locations include:
Let the staff know your returnables are for Matthew's Medina Goes Pink fundraiser.
This Is Part of What Makes Medina Home
Our Why Move to Medina videos often highlight the places that make this area special: historic homes, locally owned businesses, parks, and the Erie Canal.
But a community is also shaped by everyday interactions.
A business owner taking a moment to listen to a kid explain his fundraiser.
A neighbor saving cans and bottles.
Someone sharing a flyer so more people can get involved.
Those moments belong in the story of Medina, too.
Helping people find a home here gives us the opportunity to introduce them to a place we know and care about. Supporting events like Medina Goes Pink gives us another way to contribute to that same community.
Medina isn't just a place we do business.
This is our home.
And we're proud to help it thrive.
Thinking about making Medina home? We'd be happy to help you get to know the area and explore your real estate options.
